Corinne Burch

Piano

Corinne is a musician, conductor, and board-certified music therapist living in Los Angeles.  Their musical journey started at age 7 with classical piano lessons and handbell choir.  They completed their undergraduate education at Berklee College of Music, where they played keys in a rock ensemble and accompanied several singers in musical theater auditions.  Since graduating, Corinne has worked in pediatric medical music therapy, adapted music lessons, and community choir settings.  In lessons, Corinne strives to customize repertoire and exercises to students’ unique interests, styles, and strengths.  Their piano students have ranged from age 5 to age 22, from beginner to experienced, and from classical music fans to video game music aficionados.   Corinne is currently serving as the interim co-director of the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles and recently got to perform on stage at the Greek Theater.  They are a huge fan of all types of music and so happy to get to explore with all the great musicians at Grace Notes!

Course Description

Corinne’s piano classes are an absolute joy. Corinne tailors each lesson to fit the needs and goals of each student. Following their artistic tastes and finding a way to challenge them while creating a fun and collaborative space to grow and learn to play piano. Corinne exposes students to a multitude of styles and techniques to nurture a well-rounded pianist, providing them with knowledge of music theory, chord voicing, arranging, and diverse repertoire.
