Jacob Newberry

Jacob Newberry is an incredibly accomplished musician. His musical journey began at age 10 as a drummer and percussionist. He performed in drumline in high school and during his time at UCLA where he received his BA in Musicology. After college he performed for over 10 years in a percussion group called “ The Procrastinators” while also building a robust private teaching studio in LA. Jacob performed as a singer, guitarist, bassist and drummer of several bands throughout his career. He teaches guitar, bass, ukulele, piano and percussion. His versatility as a musician and his extensive experience working with children has made him a wonderful teacher of all ages. He is a singer-songwriter and recently performed his original songs at Slumber Party Sessions in Hollywood at Hotel Cafe. He is excited to join the Grace Notes Music Studio where he can continue to share and inspire his students.
